Gary Postrech- Biography

Although he grew up in Pittsburgh, Gary lived in New Hampshire for 15 years before returning to the area. Most of that time he worked as an illustrator for various advertising agencies and publications, including The Old Farmers Almanac, Yankee magazine and Country Journal. He has been selected by Print Publishing for inclusion in their annual of prominent Americans illustrators.
"The Universe Boundless" is his current project, a series of oil spacescapes. Like the universe itself, the series has been constantly expanding to include planets, moons, and nebulae. "The subjects of representational art have always been apples and flowers and things we see around us. Now we can see much farther and the subjects are new and spectacular. The universe has it all, solid objects, abstract cloud forms, and unbelievable color. It's all out there and there's no end to what can be done with it."
